    That Council award the 2023 Dale MacMillan Scholarship for Community Leadership to Julianne Roe and Shelby Pierce.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council place a moratorium on amendments to the Land Use Bylaw to redistrict agricultural zoned land to RVS – Recreational Vehicle Storage, or Direct Control districts intended to support development of RV storage, until appropriate locational policy within the Municipal Development Plan is developed and considered.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council authorize the transfer of $310,750 from the Road Network Reserve to fund selective rehabilitation work specific to drainage issues in Cardiff Echoes.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to execute contract awards for the Estate Way Road Reconstruction and Surfacing, Bridge File 00889 (Township Road 564), and Cardiff Echoes Selective Rehabilitation projects to the respective recommended compliant bidders.

Gary Mayhew, Director, Transportation & Engineering Services

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council authorize the transfer of up to $250,000 from the Road Network Reserve to fund emergency repairs for Bridge File 00839 (Victoria Trail Bridge).

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council give second reading of Bylaw 1629/23.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council give third reading of Bylaw 1629/23.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council approve the conditions of sale and the reserve bid identified in the 2023 Public Sale of Land Report at market value as prepared by Sturgeon County’s Assessment Department for the Public Tax Recovery Property Auction to be held on November 30, 2023.

  • Recommended Motion:

    That Council approve funding for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project resourcing requirements in the amount of $1,132,000 from the General Operating Reserve.
