• Recommended Motion:

Bylaw 1607/22 - Resource Extraction Amendments to Land Use Bylaw 1385/17

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council give second reading of Bylaw 1607/22 as amended.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council give third reading of Bylaw 1607/22.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council direct Administration to recommend a policy for Council’s consideration that provides additional guidance on resource extraction activities in proximity to Livestock Operations, recognizing the protection of agriculture as a primary land use in Sturgeon County, subject to the approval of Bylaw 1607/22 and prior to it coming into force on September 30, 2023.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council approve the Resource Extraction Regulatory Review Implementation Public Communications Plan, provided as Attachment 6, to guide further communications and public awareness of the approved implementation matters.

  That Council direct Administration to schedule a second Public Hearing for Bylaw 1626/13 at the June 13, 2023 Regular Council Meeting.

Contract Award - 2023 Pavement Preservation Program - Mill and Fill

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council award the contract for the 2023 Pavement Preservation Program – Mill and Fill to St. Albert Parking Lot Maintenance Ltd. at a contract price of $1,164,326.75 (excluding GST) and authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to execute the contract.

Contract Award - Township Road 570 Rehabilitation Project - Highway 44 to East of the Alcomdale Hamlet Access

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council award the contract for the Township Road 570 Rehabilitation Project from Highway 44 to East of the Alcomdale Hamlet access to Central Civil Solutions at a contract price of $929,705.68 (excluding GST) and authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to execute the contract.

Contract Award - Bridge File 08369 (Bridge Culvert Replacement on Range Road 251 North of Highway 642)

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council award the contract for Bridge File 08369, Bridge Culvert Replacement on Range Road 251 North of Highway 642 and other work tender (2023-066), to Avid Energy Services Inc. at contract price of $618,402.65 (excluding GST) and authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to execute the contract.
