Request for Property Tax Cancellation Due to Fire Loss - Tax Roll 3716005

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council refund 2022 property taxes in the amount of $2,074.84 for Tax Roll 3716005.

Capital Funding Summary and Reallocations

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council approve a reallocation of 2022 capital project savings in the amount of $9,916,897 to the capital projects listed in Attachment 2 in the amount of $6,691,125 and the reserves listed in Attachment 3 in the amount of $3,225,772.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council approve the reallocation of $4,476,885 in funding from the 2024 Capital Budget to the 2023 Capital Budget for Range Road 220 – Township Road 570 to Redwater in the amount of $4,200,000 and Bridge File 00889 (Township Road 564) in the amount of $276,885.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council uncommit funding for the Green & Inclusive Community Buildings Program capital project in the amount of $400,000 for 2023 and $400,000 for 2024.

Bylaw 1627/23 – Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 1385/17 – Redistrict E½ NW-34-54-25-W4M from AG – Agriculture District to RVS – Recreational Vehicle Storage District – First Reading

Sturgeon County Centre Cardiff Room and Front Entrance Upgrades

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council approve the proposed renovation design and associated budget for the Sturgeon County Centre Cardiff Room and Front Reception.

• Recommended Motion:

  That Council approve an increase to the Sturgeon County Centre Cardiff Room and Front Reception renovation budget in an amount not to exceed $300,000 funded from the Community Building Priority Reserve

1:00 p.m. 2022 Audited Financial Statements

  That Council approve the transfer of the 2022 operating surplus in the amount of $5,003,593 to the General Operating Reserve.

  That Council approve the 2022 Annual Financial Statements as prepared by Administration and audited by the accounting firm of MNP.
